Monday, July 10th- Friday, July 14th 8:00a-12:30pAges: 9-11 4-H Farm to Table Summer Camp is an opportunity for children (9-11 years*) to experience and learn about where their food comes from.  Faculty from UF/IFAS Orange County Extension will teach various Farm to Table topics such as (but not limited to): seed propagation, parts of the plant we eat, pollinators, how to grow microgreens, vegetables, fruits, and much more.  Every day will involve time for nutrition education and fun hands-on activities on safe food handling practices. Participants will receive a resource notebook and plants or projects to take home.  Class is limited to 20 youth. per child (child must be 9-11 years old to attend the camp.*)  *Age is determined by the 4-H requirement, child must be 9-11 years old on the date of 9/1/2016. Pre-Registration is required along with the non-refundable program fee. Payment policy: Pre-registration is required along with the non-refundable camp registration fee. All ticket sales are final, no refunds. If you prefer to pay by cash or check, please visit our office at 6021 S. Conway Rd. Orlando, FL 32812 from Monday – Friday from 8am-5pm. Call 407-254-9200 first to see if tickets are available for purchase. Cancellation policy: Camp is subject to cancellation if a minimum number of attendees are not booked. If camp is cancelled you will receive a notification, and a refund confirmation to the e-mail that is provided during the registration process.
