Cacao Ceremony + Dynamic Meditation at Nonsense Night ~ 8/11
Event on 2017-08-11 18:00:00
Join holistic facilitator Nick Meador for a cacao ceremony at Nonsense Night on 8/11. In this sacred circle we will drink the indigenous plant medicine cacao, grown organically in eastern Guatemala at a family farm that Nick visited personally. Pure cacao opens the heart, deepens meditative experiences, and fosters inner/outer connection. We’ll have an opening circle to support each other with intention for the ceremony. Then Nick will lead the OSHO Dynamic Meditation. This is a standing meditation involving nasal breathwork, vocal and physical catharsis, hopping and chanting, total stillness, and free movement. It's OSHO's most intense meditation experience – a chance for you to get in touch with the warrior spirit within. After this holistic experience for mind, body, and spirit, we’ll come back together for an integration circle. 6-8pm Thursday, November 17 Tangent Gallery / Hastings Street Ballroom 715 Milwaukee Ave Detroit, MI 48202 Contribution: adv / at the door WORKSHOP ADMISSION INCLUDES ENTRY TO THE FULL NONSENSE NIGHT EVENT WHICH STARTS AT 8PM.
