Ok I've only watched the start but to say a plaque is caused by atherosclerosis doesn't really tell me anything. Do we know for certain what causes atherosclerosis? The other thing is that an MI surely doesn't cause necrosis. This would mean that that part of the heart is dead tissue and would therefore decompose. My (admittedly) basic knowledge tells me that the heart muscle actually changes into another type of tissue that doesn't beat and requires minimal oxygen. Different and of little use but not necrotic.
