Do you wish you were less emotionally reactive? Less stressed as a parent? More productive? Do you wish you were more calm, focussed, and happy – able to enjoy your relationships with a sense of ease? MINDFULNESS can give us these tools, in simple, easy steps.  Beginning with a free introductory workshop, this 4 week course will explore :   • The NEUROSCIENCE OF MINDFULNESS – how mindfulness can help reshape our neural pathways to promote calmer, happier states of being  • WHAT IS STRESS? How does it affect our brain and body’s biochemistry? And how can mindfulness help?  • FORMAL & INFORMAL MINDFULNESS PRACTICE – strengthening the muscle of the mind through the practice of focussing our attention, then learning to integrate mindfulness into everyday life so we can stay calm, happy, connected and productive   •  The Super Power heart practices of LOVING KINDNESS and GRATITUDE – how they chill us out, make us happier and more resilient when life throws us the odd curve ball! ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: * The free introductory workshop on Monday August 21, 7.00-8.30pm, will be followed by the 4 Week Course commencing Monday Aug 28, Sep 4, Sep 11, Sep 18, 7.00-8.30pm. ie there are 5 sessions in all * Even though the Introductory Session is FREE, it is essential to register – on this page. * Places will be limited to 15 only. * Registration and payment for the 4 Week Course (on this page) will secure your spot. FAQs  What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event? There is plenty of parking on Attley Gve and nearby Glen Eira Rd. Arrival at 6.45pm will be ideal to allow time to settle in and have a cup of tea. What can I bring into the event? Comfy clothes, and a blanket or shawl if required.
