Peace Join us at our annual summer yoga retreat, which is now in it's 12th year! The theme of this year's Summer Retreat is Peace.  Come with us on a journey through the divine teachings of Kundalini Yoga, meditation and being present in the company and vibration of blessed souls, together at this cosy Retreat.  We will explore how can we bring peace and poise into our lives.  Can we free ourselves of non-serving karmic behaviour patterns to be at peace with ourselves, our family, our communities and the world?  How can we serve as a beacon of hope for people, to bring about small ripples of peace to inspire the world. In numerology, Peace relates to the quality of number 9 which is the number for relaxation, tolerance, patience, endurance, getting to the top of the mountain, seeing things through, the tortoise wins the race. The ninth Sikh Guru, Guru Tegh Bahadur is an example of the perfect embodiment of the virtue of peace. We will look at : examples of peace (from Guru Tegh Bahadur and other faiths) the impersonal aspect of peace (for all) the personal aspect of finding peace within (through our practice, chanting shabd guru and mantars, specific meditations  which help us to relax) The number 9 also relates to the Subtle Body – the 9th spiritual body – which is more universal and helps us see the bigger play – which we need right now, for peace on earth and also cultivating tolerance.  “The Divine Intelligence of Guru Tegh Bahadur is a refined all-pervading fragrance of peace. We need to open the spaces in-between the spaces within us for it to descend and fill our being." – Shiv Charan Singh Over the weekend, you will be taken through dynamic Kundalini Yoga exercises and Kriyas, uplifting meditation, relaxation, mantra, meditation, dance and movement, healthy eating, good company and country walks to allow your spirit to radiate. The retreat will be led by Inderpal Kaur and Angad Kaur, who are experienced and qualified Kundalini Yoga Teachers.
