Going to church from a young age with his grandparents helped influence his musical journey. Some of the artists that Arkaingelle has been inspired by are Burning Spear, Bob Marley, Culture, Midnite, Isreal Vibrations, Count Ozzie and the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari and countless others. His lyrics show an Afro-Caribbean influence combined with the spirituality of Rastafari, along with his energy prove that he is a musical force to be reckoned with. For the past five year Arkaingelle has been spreading his music from New York to Seattle, Hawaii and throughout California. He has had the pleasure of opening for some well known reggae artists such as Tippa Irie, Prezident Brown, Lutan Fyah, Ras Attitude, Bambu Station, and Army. In 2008 Arkaingelle released his first album titled Open which has been well received by the reggae community. He toured throughout the California and Northwest promoting his new album. Arkaingelle performed at the Whole Earth Festival in Davis, CA and at the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival Pre-Show in the summer of 2008. In the fall of 2008 Arkaingelle was part of the Rooted in Inity Tour which included artists Blaak Lung and Ras Popo Ites from Brazil. In 2009 Arkaingelle continued to spread his music by touring in South America. He spent most of his time in Salvador Bahia Brazil working with Ras Popo Ites, the Red Meditation Band and Ital Studios. One event was groundbreaking for Reggae music and the Rastafarian community in Bahia, since it was the first time a reggae band was permitted to perform at the Theatro do Irdeb. This show was also filmed and broadcasted live, so many of the locals who were not able to afford the show were still able to see this epic evening of roots music. In 2017 he released his 4th album "TRU DA FYAH" and has been touring consistently to spread the love and majesty of Rastafari.**************************************Monday Night Edutainment is the longest running party in the North Bay.Hosted by DJ Jacques of the WBLK Dancehall Massive.Since the summer of 2001, WBLK and Monday Night Edutainment have hosted many of the West coasts most talented DJs, Selectas and singers.
