Post-Natal Yoga for Mother with Baby, October

The postnatal period is a very special time for mothers and babies. In these classes we will share beneficial practices to help the healing process after birth, foster a connection with our new babies, and learn to relax in each others' presence. Practices will be nurturing and nourishing, helping to rejuvenate and relax, with our babies as integral to each element of the session. We will explore techniques which can be taken off the mat into everyday life when caring for ourselves and others. .. Sessions also offer the opportunity to meet the community of mothers around you - feel free to arrive early to feed, change, chat and support one another as new mothers. .. Women are considered to be post-natal for a minimum of 12 months after birth. To begin your journey with ante-natal yoga, we require you to be at least 6 weeks post-natal. Once babies begin to crawl around and approach their toddler stage, this post-natal class may no longer be suitable and attending a post-natal class independently, or joining our family yoga workshops may be the next step. This is best decided on an individual basis as every situation is unique Classes are every Monday from 1:30-2:45pm, other than October 23rd (half term) ..
