Puppy Manners – for younger puppies up to 6 months    Fee: 5 Week course is €135 Duration: 1 Hour class each week   Week 1: 26th August 2017 Week 2: 2nd September 2017 Break: 9th September Great Irish Dog Walk at the DSPCA Week 3: 16th September 2017 Week 4: 23rd September 2017 Week 5: 30th September 2017  Topics: Socialisation with dogs, people and children Focus & Attention Go to “Bed”: Night time and Separation Fun & Reward: Sit – Down – Stay Recall Leave it – Take it Handling Exercises Play Time & Games Course Outline: The Puppy Manners course is a 5 week course, ideal for puppies up to 6 Months Socialisation and play time off leash in a safe and secure environment is necessary to have a well-balanced happy puppy. Personal attention in all our classes is our priority. You will never be alone!  No prior training knowledge is required in order to participate in our Puppy Manners Course. In order to achieve the best results, weekly homework and exercises will be required. Top Ten common behaviour problems such as Barking, Chewing, Digging, Separation Anxiety, Begging, Chasing, Jumping Up, Play-Biting, Attention-Seeking, and Hyperactivity are also addressed during this course. Course Material provided: Puppy Manners Exercises Homework Log Training Notes Email and Telephone Support   Class Policies Children We encourage all family members who will be participating in training your dog to attend class. Children can be good trainers but they do require special consideration in a class situation.  There are times when the child will have to sit quietly in class and we want their parents and others to be able to fully concentrate on the class. Multiple Dogs For reasons of safety, we do not allow a single handler to bring multiple dogs to class. If you have multiple dogs, please ensure that you have multiple handlers – one for each dog.  Refunds Courses are non-refundable Transfering  If you do choose to transfer to another class start date or location there is a transfer fee of €10.00  Make-Up Sessions Make-up sessions are always possible! If you miss a lesson we will move you into another upcoming class we will do our best to accommodate you.  Vaccinations DHPPi & Lepto 2/4 Vaccinations, are required before your dog participates in class. YOUR DOG MUST BE CURRENT ON ALL VACCINATIONS. Please check with your veterinarian to be sure your doggie is current on all shots. Vaccination Cards must be shown on week 1.
